Australia already in deep trouble at 2 down, Steve Smith is no better than Joe Root in this format.

It is interesting that no one seems to be giving Australia any hope.

I think the lower scoring pitches have brought Australia right into semi-final contention. No team benefits more from lower scoring matches than Australia who, unless the openers go wild, will not score 180+ on a good wicket. They have a bowling attack that can contain sides well. Zampa is an underated T20 bowler. He gets no credit but has an effective record and has done well so far. Career economy of 6.84 is very good.
I think you got the answer yesterday! :D But knowing the Aussies they will probably go on to win! :o

Yeah, I'm not forgetting the performances by all the other players but Jos in that form is uncontainable and he will win the Trophy because it won't matter how many the opposition score!

Got a nice middle on the Eng runs.

This is the sort of strategy this thread might want to look at.

My NZ lay is sitting on top of 4m waiting to be matched - think that's a new record for me.

167 is a better than satisfactory total by England on a tricky surface but if dew comes down...
