Excuse my ignorance but can somebody explain how you score a 5 in cricket?
A wide that goes to the boundary, overthrows

To encourage the spectacle of T20 I've always felt a one bounce 4 should be a 5! :) But Emmson is right, there are many ways to score a 5 it's just they are not very frequent … a no-ball that goes to the boundary is another and an 'all run' 5, yes, very unlikely but … youtube.com

My brother who's five years older than me once whacked the ball over the park fence and scored about 30 runs while I ran out of the park to get it. :x

Another bizarre IPL game and we only at 1/2 way. ;) we already at 25 million matched so we may get that 50 million matched game.

Also, if the ball hits one of the fielders helmets when temporarily taken off during an over.

You should score double for hitting a fielder on the head. :)

Very sad to see Dean Jones has passed away.

My favourite cricketer when I was young.

RIP Deano

Bob Willis Trophy final, another reminder county cricket red ball is tradeable though not scalpable. Actually on certain games in certain situations it can be scalpabale.

Such a thin market combined with a late Somerset collapse combined with them resuming play after I didn't think that was going to happen really wiped out a lovely position rather quickly and it could have been worse. Feel like I've lost £300 in an hour

Essex have the trophy in their hands, I think I'm done. A 5 day county game that is a draw where weather has not intervened that much is remarkable in itself.
