Splendid partnership building between Joe and Dawid
I Want A Daddy partnership 100+ then if they reach that 150+
Ashes Cricket 2021/22
Massive partnership. The luck has reversed. England post 475-500 and they are right in it. Still a bit in the wicket. I'm not sure how much it is going to deteriorate, though, if Australia need to chase a score. 300 in the last innings doesn't seem to be as difficult in Brisbane.
I wonder if the pitch will continue to flatten out? The test in 2009/10 and against Pakistan in 2016/17 just got flatter and flatter, but both pitches never did as much on day 2 and 3. Last year against India it seemed to get flatter also. Strange pitch. Perth cracks but the Gabba just seems to bake hard.

Feels like a bad loss and considering where I was before play started it is a bad loss. The potential for a maximum win clouded my judgement and not for the 1st time.

Hindsight is always 20/20 of course but it looks like you hung on a little too long?
Better than a loss though

Meek performance from England on Day 4. You aren't going to win too many Tests in Australia with 6/7 batsmen averaging in the 30s.
Anyhow, Hobart instead of Perth for the 5th Test is a nice advantage for England. And Australia struggle in Melbourne. So all is not lost.

Trading test cricket is a real commitment
Don't think I'd have the staying power.. especially overnight

Pat Cummins and Hazelwood out is a massive game changer here for the 2nd Adelaide test. They are so reliable Starc isn't.
Australia XI: Marcus Harris, David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith (c), Travis Head, Cameron Green, Alex Carey (wk), Mitch Starc, Michael Neser, Nathan Lyon, Jhye Richardson
