it is. but my setup is right infront of me so i have 3 screens on while watching the footy
so just switched them off.

A Few stats for the non believers, since i started this bot on the 19.6.2021
i have made £1,000.34. i have automatatically traded 1293 races, losses in 88.
93.18% effective on an edge that will never dissapear.
All this from a starting bank of £200.

How did you get on today? Looking like going to be my first losing day for some time.
Incredible how quickly the dogs can turn on you. Today has been a car crash!

From my experience the grade of race is a big factor in being able to make a profit or loss.

I can make money all day long on OR, A1, A2, A3 but anything else grade wise then I end up with losses the size of Venezuela’s national debt.

Do you have any data or stats or websites that show how many 1st and 2nd favourites place overall or by track ?

Cheers,

Hello Gets..

I'm trying to look deep into trading GH.. What i'm looking for is how can I work with past results in dog racing at least to have an idea the dos will run on the next race.
For example this links:
https://www.timeform.com/greyhound-raci ... -02/896762
https://greyhoundsform.betfair.com/racingform
give me a lot of data .. what to choose from them in order to get a hints what dog is running well and most of all what dog will run bad.

Are a lot of races daily and is pity not to get at least 100 penny from each race . An automation would be welcome .. I've tried several.. I got some profit but days are different and I lost too. Lay favourite /Back outsiders

I did some stats my self

33%-40% favourite is winning
15%-25% 2nd favourite is winning
Overall around 50-55% of races are won by 1st& 2nd

Stats from 1 Jan-30 June 2021 .Excel data.

Yes but obviously each individual dog bet needs to at a value price, just knowing x% of dogs did something doesn't help to find value. And the issue with the data you're looking for is that everyone else has it, so a dog that's been running well will probably be priced accordingly. Finding value in dog racing is a tricky business especially using hard fundamental data such as form and form data alone won't give you a pricing model. If you're serious about the dogs then you might find this interesting...https://youtu.be/90oJjw9vTKw

Greyhound Ratings

If found the following sometime ago but never really looked into it. Someone might find it helpful.

Assumptions
- All dogs running in the race ran the same distance and grade last time out. If thats not the case then skip the race or adjust using other methods.

Values
- An output rating value of 50 points.
- Track records for a particular distance.
- Last race time.
- 1 length = 0.066 seconds.
- How many lengths the dog was beaten by last time out.
- A value of 1.5 ratings points is used for 1 length.

Formula
- 50 + [{Track record - Last race time) / 0.066} - Beaten lengths] * 1.5

This should give each dog an accurate rating for the upcoming race. Does that mean the dog with the highest rating is going to win, no, does it mean that the dog will shorten in price, no. Is it of any use in the real world, no idea.

Have fun and dont use money you cant afford to lose.

:)

I also think that numbers 2 and 3 have good chances of winning. Number five will not win the race, I also agree with that.
