Wow, these look really cool... Nice job Memphis 👍👏👏
I'm using excel vba 2007 to make a UserForm that does my daily in-play horse racecard analysis for me, at the click of my mouse. Doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing as this though. It wasn't you replying to my thread on Excel forum suggesting PowerQuery was it!? Lol 🤔😄

Might have to give this a try at some point 👌

I don't suppose it's possible to open .xlsm files in PQ is it?

Has anyone ever been to Nottingham dogs. Thinking of heading over next Friday, normally go Romford. How does it compare?

For those of you that are looking for any trap bias - Results so far this year

enclosed .baf file will back the highest trap % for the best track all day long.
This is just one example of what can be done with the right statistics.
Can easily be changed as just a text comparison

You do create some fabulous and really useful charts. Memphis. I'll have a play with this and perhaps set up some automation to test laying shorties from the reds and backing favourites at 2.5+ from the greens, etc.

Many thanks for this - much appreciated.👍

Today's greyhounds:

Does anyone know what happened in the 10.23 at Towcester this morning?

According to my log, the race was suspended at 10.23.30.

The winner, Jeffs Moon, then showed up on my log at 10.23.51 with a BSP of 6.00.

At 10.27.44 the race showed as 'unsuspended' before being 'suspended' again at 10.33.18.

A new BSP for Jeffs Moon was then listed in the log as 5.56.

Has anyone any idea what happened?

I can only see that the second favourite Jeffs Moon 6 dog won with LTP of 5.7. Not sure about the suspension times or reasons, sorry.

Thanks CS.

It's a weird one.

My Guardian record of bets showed Jeffs Moon as a winning bet that had been matched as the first BSP supplied was above the limit I'd set.

The second BSP was below the limit. When I checked my Betfair account it was showing as a lapsed bet.

Didn't see it but one possibility is that a trap opened late or the hare stopped. In either case they would have reopened the market and then restarted the race. The issue appears to be with Guardian not recognising a race can revert to pre-race status even though a BSP has already been recorded (during the false start). Whereas Betfair would have settled on the final outcome ie the 2nd start.

.... Or maybe faulty equipment on the traps indicated they'd opened, and triggered the process for the race having started and then it was reset?

Some sort of false start scenario seems to be the most likely explanation.

Thanks Shaun,

I was thinking something on those lines may have happened as there was a fair time gap between the two different BSPs being issued.

I never actually watch the races, I just let Guardian do the heavy lifting. :)
