Also seasonality
may consider bitches
Their season changes also as female
I know thats not the aim but a thought
I have known greyhound owners and some "The Dogs" computer men
say a Bitch in season runs differently as opposed to not
but some were/are "suppressed" when in season which was allowed by the BRGB
Dont know nowadays

I may also add

I used to manually key in greyhound results over 2000 at one track
ie trap, position each bend, weight, dist beat, time ,adj time, going, etc
guess what happened to keyboard whilst typing in trial etc form
split/break 3.22
weight 2.
time 27 etc
28etc
29.
etc
the 2 key wore out

Apart from that,
I learned a lot about
times etc

This may be true
as in horse racing and other sports.

We can all trade on our own
but never reach the moon

Problem with the dogs is that you reach saturation point quite quickly, if you're trading, so the moon will always be out of reach no matter how many of you are trying.

upload results etc

Update spreadsheet

Maybe keep for continue monitoring

RESULT=no track left

Cheers Callum, not looked at doggos in years. Any volume graphs according to time of day, or over the week by any chance? :)

I remember quite a few decently liquid races in the evenings.
Callum might have something more recent, but this was last updated about 2 years ago, I suspect the volumes have increased slightly but I suspect the trends over days and times are still a good guide

For what it's worth, I've placed a good few thousand trades since we came out of lockdown and my results are a mirror image of yours for Aug/Sept. I took a big dip during August and have come back strongly since the start of Sept. I'd be inclined to say it's variance and strategy dependent with it.

I haven't done any work in this area so can't specifically tell if there is a pattern. But most sports to exhibit some seasonality.

Perhaps look at the big races and work your way to towards or away from those races.
Thank you, I'll give it a go.
