Laying the favourite has worked so well this WC. France, with nothing to play for this morning flunked it and now Scotland who need to win by 8 are putting up a good fight against England.

Unlucky for Wales that. A good show but luck was not with them.

9-8 at 80mins and France still on offer at 1.31 just seconds before winning. Something for the notepad.

Statistics (possession etc) showed a clear Welsh advantage and they scored the only try and had the better chances, also had their key player sent off. Wales were very unlucky to lose that one.

I've seen the team behind (wales in this case) nudge it plenty of times before though peter. They were in drop goal position all the way up until the final whistle

I realise that, it was just curious to see. It was basically discounting the chance of the drop as 33% or the French resistance as 67%. Didn't expect to see 1.30 at that point.

Thought i would revive this thread rather than a new one, I've never traded rugby in anyway previoustly so just wondered if someone could give a list of the main markets to be looking at?? for example in football it would be Match odds and O/U2.5

Also do Rugby's main markets all time decay similar to the football markets or is there significant differences?

Cheers

I don't really trade Rugby, but I think England could win this evening :)

yep England 'should' smash em tonight. I was wondering if the odds on England as overall winner might come in a tick (assuming they put on a good show)?

They won, but they didnt seem like a well oiled machine did they? Im sure they will do well in the tournament though
I placed a back bet at 6.2 on the overall winner market but someone just got in front of me with a largish stake just as the England game kicked off, so it sat there unmatched.
I was expecting it to come in to about 5.9 (thinking England would have put in a much stronger performance).
After watching for 20 mins or so, I decided to pull the stake and was glad i did as they drifted to around 6.6 I think.
Currently at 6.4 to back.
Regards
Peter
