What an end to the race!

Hamilton must have put some serious voodoo on Red Bull in the off season!

Well, b***er me backwards with a bent banana! Ferrari 1-2. Mercedes 3-4. Red Bull 0-0. What happened there?

He'll get a lot of satisfaction from that!

Hamilton's demeanour on the podium suggests a great deal of schadenfreude.
But he spoke with dignity, I thought.
Game on. :-)

Don't have to wait long for the next race, the Saudi GP weekend starts on Friday.

Hamilton priced at 12 to win the race; might be worth a shekel or two. Mercedes expecting upgrades to the car this week and you have to wonder how much room for improvement there is for Ferrari. Factor in Red Bull's problems and 12 looks a little big.

You can't use the word shekel without invoking this: -

I was about to post how much I like that film. Then realised this is the F1 thread. There is a tenuous connection as George Harrison bankrolled Life of Brian and was an F1 fan. Perhaps a post to "Stuff to watch". Is that thread even there now?

Excited for this again today. Hamilton in 15th.

Can he make the podium. Tough ask.

Almost impossible, no?. Traffic, lack of premium pace. If either Merc ends up on the podium It would flagpost a big change in how we (well, me) now see Merc's level.

It seems Latifi has found his raison d'être. Crash strategically to stuff everything up.

He's the crash test dummy of F1 at present. Sadly. Great result by Max thougha dn brilliant to see Leclerc rise to the occasion also. Two future legends of the sport IMO.
