1000 bets an hour $458 charge!!!!

7.3 A 'transaction' shall include all bets placed and all failed transactions. Transaction Charges only apply to customers recording more than 5000 transactions an hour. 7.4 For the purpose of calculating Transaction Charges, an “hour” means a continuous period of 60 minutes based on the standard 24-hour clock system.

Thx, how is this different to the changes they made last September? Re increase to 5000 trns/hr and reducing the overs to 0.2p from 1.0p.

Not sure, but it's the first time I've seen "continuous period" mentioned, i.e. 15:43 to 16:43 as opposed to clock hours.

Under the old rules, if a race starts at 15:05 you could place 5000 bets on it before 15:00 and another 5000 after.
