Hi,

Just come across this post on facebook but seen quite a few of them just recently.
Looks like very hard times have come for matched bettors, bettors in general and system owners.
£100 depo limit...Absolute nonsense. It makes you think, maybe someone from inside betfair is sabotaging the company or something because there is no legislation/law that would say you have to do it. ANother reason to use Betdaq then i guess.

Cool, now we have digital nannies, would they send me a robot to wipe my ass remotely, cause you know I can break something trying to do it myself?!

More than the limit, I thought this was odd: -

Y, wait till they come across a bot user :P

We noticed a high level of activity on the exchange hitting our time on site report for 40320mins (672hrs) registered online

Yeah and ... "how did you manage to place 1 million bets in a 5 minutes, please ensure us you are a human being and not a gambling addicted octopus who escaped from a circus"!

But seriously, I hope they marked us bots owners and liquidity providers somehow to protect from those moronic nannies. I really, really do hope.

They (most likely) totally have no clue what even a bot is.
Do they even have any training at all ?

If you wish, there are settings to automatically log you out of the main website automatically.

Ah that's interesting, Peter......those BF figures only apply to their main website then, not those using API's?

I only ever log into BF when I'm withdrawing money.

I like to sit logged on all the time so I can check my P&L periodically. You have to do that or how do you keep on top of their mistakes?

API would surely be different, especially if you are using streaming.

I'm logged into the Betfair website all day but only place bets through BA. I guess it's bet placement rather than logging in.

So as well as being scared to withdraw I now need to be scared of being logged into Betfair too?

I will add a new unnecessary risk of not being able to keep a close eye on my automations to the unnecessary risk and sub-optimal return of keeping a high balance in Betfair.

This is beyond a joke now.

Peter,

Can we not start building up BA for Betdaq and in time dump Betfair altogether ?

Cheers,
