Last week's gross P&L on my Expert Fee page is almost £1k too low, and the commission generated about £11 too high.

My P&L net of commission is £700 greater than the gross P&L on the EF page, which should be impossible.

I think I've checked all the usual things. I can't make sense of it. :geek:

Mine looks pretty much spot on, excluding rounding errors. That seems like a very large discrepancy. You didn't have an event carrying over did you?

No. It's a real oddity.

This week my gross P&L was £50 lower than it should have been. And no sign of any balancing £1k missing from the previous week. It's a mystery.

Spot on this week.

My mysterious missing £1k gross never came back.

I was sort of waiting for the post this week to see if it was still happening.

I am probably being stupid, but if your "commission paid" ( (commission + implied commission)/2) is less than 40% then over the last 52 weeks should the:

Expert Fee + commission paid = 40% * Gross profit?

I appear to get an actual charge of 42% over the last 52 weeks.

Anyone have something similar?

I see the US Open golf has fallen into this week. Make sense as it finished in the early hours of the morning. But worth noting.

Commission Generated = (commission paid + implied commission) /2.

I think the "Commission Paid" sum displayed on the EF page is the actual commission paid on winning markets, and not a sum of commission generated.

My total "Commission Generated" + "Expert Fee" = exactly 40% of my gross profit which is as it should be if you're on 40% banding.

I think you are correct. I make a lot of my income in Australia and I get screwed on the 'Implied Commission' crap i.e. I pay more than I generate  . So it would follow that I end up paying more the 40%. FYI for the weekly charges I also come out at the 40% figure as expected.
