I think I've spotted a bug in this feature that reports the wrong value. I reconcile my accounts weekly and noticed this week a difference in values, which I think is due to withdrawals.

If I can replicate it, I'll let the forum know.
It looks like they're still trying to get it right.

I have always got this response when I access that URL

This irks me though

I hardly ever look at my profit & loss page anymore. The graphs are much more pleasant on the eyes. :D

As a matter of interest, is there anyone on here that's had a Betfair account for less than a year? Do you still get a 12-month graph?

I've been using Betfair since November. A 12-month graph is available for me, although it's not very exciting. The axis shows January-September with no activity.

My account isn't strictly new, however. It was opened in 2001 or thereabouts. I had a bit of a 20-year break there! ;)

I've worked out what this is now. It's when you transfer money from one wallet to another.

It treats the transferred amount as a profit or loss.

Select 'Exchange' from the 'Activity' drop-down menu for correct figures.

Betfair have seemingly rolled out a new way of visualizing your P&L including for 12 months now.
Indeed. I highlighted this when I found it on my account a couple weeks ago. It provides a nice chart IMO.

Maybe a daft question , but I am a bit confused atm:

Is this "My Profit and Loss" page relevant for checking whether or not an "enhanced financial risk assessment" might be imminent?
(Losses of >£1,000/d or >£2,000/mth)

Or is it not relevant for that, as it's only about deposits versus withdrawals? :geek:

My feeling is such assessments are more likely to be triggered by deposit behaviour rather than losses, but they may well have different triggers for different situations.

Mhm, could be.

Have Betfair (or Betdaq) given any kind of statement in regards to this?

Or has anybody here experienced this "enhanced assessment" yet and could give any insights?

The Betfair algo isn't public but the usual indicators of problem betting are mid-session top ups (unplanned betting), frequent deposits/withdrawals (you need to shuffle cash around) or a change to your usual betting patterns such as escalating stakes, frequency, markets you don't usually bet on etc.

This explains some of the things firms look for... https://link.springer.com/article/10.10 ... 22-10144-4
