Thinking about moving house within the UK sometime in the near future.

One of the things putting me off is the potential for Betfair account issues when I update my details. How mad that this should be a concern, but we are where we are.

Does anyone have any recent experience of updating address details, good or bad? Any advice or tips?

I've changed mine four times, I think.

As long as there isn't an account at the same address, then you should be fine. I've just gone in and edited mine each time.

When I moved house in 2021, they suspended the account but re-opened after speaking to customer services.

Sadly, I can't remember the reason they gave at the time.

I'm in a similar position. Moved almost two years ago, too scared to change it after what happened when I changed my email address (account suspended for three months). I'm thinking it will look worse if I change it now but who knows

Do it via online support James, no problems at all. They probably do it for 20% (?) of customers every year.

My daughter moved recently, so I phoned her up and said to her, "Did you change the Betfair address?" to which she answered "yes" and she didn't have any problems.

It has to do with the fact that your KYC was made on the old address, so it's for security reasons. For most users, it's best to contact support and tell them you want to change your address before doing it manually in the profile.
