Just Noticed a wee timer on betfair webpage.

Does anyone know what it is, why it's there etc ?

But is it not a very strange place to put a clock ?

It's annoying because the background to the clock sometimes makes the text look as if I've accidentally selected it, so I have to click on the page to try to deselect the text.

Just a clock by the look of it. Mine is far to right well away from that logo.

Just a clock by the look of it. Mine is far to right well away from that logo.
You're either using a high screen resolution or they don't want you to take time out.

If you change your window size or display scale you'll find the clock is right-justified and not attached to any logo, but it is a very odd place to have a clock, especially when it's only noticed if you have to scroll to the bottom of the page.
