Commission question

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been asked or if it is obvious, I have had a look on the forum but it’s still not clear to me.

I know you pay commission on winning bets only. But how is it calculated when you hedge the bet.

I think you pay commission on all winning trades not just profitable ones.

Do you pay it on your Green up profit, or do you pay commission on the winning part of your trade?

Along the same lines, if you back at say odds of 4 and then lay at 4 scratching, would you pay commission on winning trade resulting in a loss or no commission due to no profit.

Any assistance would be appreciated

The commission is taken from your overall profit from a market, it doesn't matter if you placed a single bet which won, or done a 100 quick scalp trades, whatever the profit is that is what you pay commission on
