Hedge/Green button not working?

Hi, Anyone else have issues with the greening button not working??

I realise there is some market dependency on getting matched but I press many times (sometimes 4 or 5 times). This happens pretty much every race I trade. Made the mistake today of switching market before checking but it's very frustrating to think you've hedged - pressed the button many times a minute or so before the off and then to find out it didn't work and you end up with a large loss.

Is this perhaps to do with running BetAngel in a virtual environment rather than natively in Windows?

What to others do to guarantee getting to a green position? Go back to the exchange and green there?

Not great if hedging can't be relied upon.

How are you triggering the green command? What settings do you have under the 'green up' tab in settings?

HI, I have all the default options on the green settings. My process is normally to use the "green up" button at the top of the screen next to the ladder settings spanner icon. Occasionally I'll use the left hand ladder column to green that selection. It's the button at the top that requires 4 or 5 presses to work every time.

I was thinking there might be an option to use an automation rule to green up before post time. Does anyone else do this? How many times would it need to fire - I would imagine 3 or 4 times, say 10 seconds out to guarantee getting a hedged position.

The green up button is probably the most used in the software, even if it were to fail every few thousand attempts someone including tbe BA team who have used it daily over the last two decades would have spotted and flagged it.

The first place to check is your Bet Angel log to see if Betfair are retuning any errors or if there is any other information in there, ie, limits reached or if you are trying to green up in'play and not waiting for Betfairs in-play delay to pass before attempting anothet bet etc etc

If you post a log here someone will be able to explain it means
