direction of offset bets

Hi all,
new here. I've been trying to learn Betangel over the last week.
I can run trades manually, but I'm running into trouble using the global settings to place the closing bet.
I can set up a simple offset bet OK, if I back, it will place a profitable lay.

But when I do an offset and stop, it places a lay bet in the wrong direction.

I would be very grateful if someone could explain to me my specific for of retardation.

There will have been more than a 2 tick spread between the back and lay price, so it's caused your stop to trigger as soon as your back bet was placed
