I have been trialing Bet Angel for 2 weeks and have noticed a big difference at times between the odds showing on the Betfair website and the odds showing in the ladder.
For example on a horse race:
Lay odds on betfair website: 2.24
Lay odds showing on Bet Angel Ladder: 2.44 or similar

The Lay odds on Bet Angel ladders on many occassions are much higher than the odds showing on the betfair website.

I use another software which calculates the "expected value" of a runner in a race and it uses the current betfair lay price so when it says this is a good lay bet I go to place the bet on Bet Angel and the Lay price is much higher giving it a much lower expected value.
I can lay the horse on betfair at a much lower lay price then Bet Angel.

I am very new to Bet Angel so am a bit confused why such a big difference at times.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

You sure you are not looking at the Betfair Sportsbook web page rather than the Exchange ?

Yes, i'm sure its not. I use the exchange to place lay bets for Matched betting.
Thanks though.

Probably cross matching.

If you have the virtual bet display box ticked untick it and see if it makes a difference

Are you logged in on the Betfair website?
If not the prices you see are delayed by several minutes

Bet Angel pulls in all market data from Betfair's API each time the market is refreshed so this would be the same as what you see on the Betfair website (when logged into it), however Bet Angel does receive updates faster and more frequently than the website updates so you'll often see more changes in Bet Angel and ahead of them moving on BF so in fast moving markets like in-running they may often appear slightly out most of the time

If you are logged into both Bet Angel and the Betfair website and the markets where you see price differences are stable (ie, pre-off and a while before there start time) so should be showing the same prices maybe post a screenshot showing the two side by side that might answer whats going on

It seems the Problem was I was not logged into Betfair. Once I logged in the odds started to match.
Thanks
