Closing a Trade

Hi All

Needing some guidance (on what will be proabably an abvious answer)

I am running a trade model that backs at $4:00 and then provides an greened offset lay bet at $3:90 (for example) - I have a stop loss at $4:10 (nothing earth shattering)

This all works ok untill the lay bet sits between $3:95 and $4:05 - ie not high enough to invoke stop loss and not short enough to close the offset bet

I want to close the bet without letting it run in-play

I have tried "Close Trade on Selection with Greening" @ 10 seconds prior to race close- but it seems to try to calculate a profit for that selection and all other selections for that race

I only want it too close the bet for that particular open trade (I may have had 10 other trades that have all closed in that particular race on multiple runners)

I would have expected something like this:
1. $4:00 back bet @ $10
2. Offset bet of $3:90 lay bet @$10:26 - with a stop loss of $4:10 @ $9:75
3. if not matched and Stop loss not reached - then @ 10 seconds prior to race close - I activate "Close Trade on Selection with Greening" which would give a trade of $3:95 Lay bet @ $10:13 (assuming the current touch point to be $3:95)

But that is not what I am getting - the unmatched bet is being cancelled - but I am getting a different closing bet of $3:95 @ $14:65 (just plucking a random number)

Have I missed something totally obvious? - Hoping somebody can shed some light for me

Did you place any earlier bets/trades that were still open?

When you close a trade with greening or green all selections the stakes are calculated based on the current best price (3.95 in your example) when the bet is placed

Can you post an actual log so all the bets and activity can be seen?
