The smell of BBQ's & the sound of people's drunken singing has really lifted my mood. The first signs of civilization is showing.
My relatives in Edinburgh are less enthusiastic. They tell me the atmosphere is volatile.
Hardly surprising though. Take the lid off a pressure cooker too early and you're likely to end up in casualty and wth stew on your kitchen ceiling.
Anyhow, let's hope this is genuine progress and we can all return to normal, whatever that is. :-)
Let's hope so! I've been in a bad mood for about 12 months  who knew the remedy would come from a group of drunk women screeching/singing "it's raining misogynists".

Its the poor nurses I feel for. They've been the spearhead of a pandemic response for over a year and for them 'getting back to normal' is having to deal with a never ending stream of pissheads clogging up A&E's on Friday and Saturday nights.

Someone take the 50p back out of Pat.

This is the happy corner, not the doom & gloom corner.

Lol. Perhaps VAR isn't so bad after all. Lovely goal though.

As soon as i posted I thought someone would come up with that.
My view on Paulo is he was/is as daft as a brush, but he was a brilliant flamboyant footballer.
I'll leave it there 'cos I'm trying to be happy. Perhaps footy was the wrong way to go.
Thank goodness I didn't post the link to all Fernando Torres' Liverpool goals. Phew! :-)

 I don't know them but I know what you mean. My Mrs naturally assumes BBQ responsibility is on me.
