That's something that really bugs me, when you hear music you like in a commercial, when it has no lyrics to search for you're buggered.
If you're quick you can hit the 'mic' icon on google, it only needs to hear 3 or 4 seconds. It even works when you're playing the tune on the phone itself, I use it quite a bit listening to internet radio.

Cheers Shaun. I didn't realise it had a search for song button. :)

Most smart phones have Shazam built in.

I switched to a Google Pixel 7 Pro recently and the phone is on another level.

It's pretty impressive how little it needs and how big the database is, it's even found really obscure stuff and from any fragment not just what we'd think is the distinctive bit. Tech eh, it's easy to take it for granted but when you've travelled here from the dark ages it does feel like science fiction.

Spent last couple days playing couch co-op SpongeBob SquarePants and Fall Guys with the fam, and I gotta say there are some aggressive microtransactions in some of these kids' games, you have to keep an eye on these things :D Some gambling elements too.

Happy Easter folks

Hopefully there are enough eggs for everyone ;)

Tucker Carlson has lost his platform, another disgrace he is. A pleasing development. :)

Trading a Brazilian Serie B match, juicy free bet on over 1.5, under 1.5 hit 1.03, market suspended and I thought fuck it, another 110 minutes trading with nothing to show for it. Switched to debugging some code, when I switched back to my web browser the score was 2-0!

It was almost like finding money on the street. :D

It's Premium Bond payout day, the automation was well up overnight, 37 degrees in the greenhouse and a song thrush is doing it's full repotoire nearby. Small pleasures in a generally shitty world.

I've been so distracted with King Chas and CS that I forgot to check my automation.

Hallelujah

;) One day's numbers with no context doesn't mean anything really, the 3 days before were all -200ish. I don't always hedge so it's just that a couple landed. I don't usually take much notice of PL, the only thing I measure is how trade bets compare with bsp because that's what it'll be over a long spell.

The Windows\Assembly\temp folder on one of my laptops reached 30GB. I realize the folder is related to the .NET Framework but the only clue to what it is is the folder name "temp". So I imaged my system volume, deleted the entire contents of the folder, and my PC's working fine. :D

Buying Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus for 12.08 Euros seems to have been a favourable purchase. Installed OK, product Key accepted and running OK. :)

Where did you get it? My usual place seems to have specialised in gaming and stopped doing the OS and business stuff.
