If anyone thinks living on your own makes you immune to the trauma of having to walk through your living room with your pants around your ankles because you were too lazy to get the bog roll out of your shopping bag and load up the holder, it doesn't when you're on the ground floor, curtains open and the sun shining through the flat.

A quick question for people from my generation. We all remember 33s and 45s, some may even have had 78s.

But has anyone had or heard of a 16?

Edit: I'm not talking about having sex with 16 or 78-year-olds. :)
Never owned one or seen one, it was the fourth speed choice on a record deck it was for speech records as they didn't need the quality of music

I've never seen one either, but I remember the speed setting on an old record player.

Interesting, thanks for posting. So there was an 8 1/3 speed as well!

I believe hard drives have more sectors on the outer tracks than inner tracks but it never occurred to me vinal records will lose quality as you head towards the end.

I'm sure we've all listened to 45s playing on 16s in our younger days. :)

I did a search for images of Katie Boulter and Google autocomplete added the word "legs"!

The things some dirty bastards search for.

Out of curiosity I did the same and got grandmother instead of legs.

Maybe you should clear your search history every now and then ;)

The Queen's been given "lighter duties"! What duties can be lighter than having a cup of tea with the PM and shuffling a few papers around?

Perhaps she will be giving Pre-Race trading a go now she has a bit more time on her hands? Or maybe she would prefer in running. She has a good spot at Ascot if she wants to try her luck on track.

It costs £50 for a guided tour around Buckingham Palace. Alternatively, you can break in for free. If you're caught and appear in front of magistrates, the fine's only twice as much as a ticket. So it's either an even money gamble or a gold ticket if you prefer an unrestricted go where you want tour.

It costs £150 for berrys course. The horses in blackpool shit on the road and the cars squash it into the concrete. Its worth more than the course. The king canute would already have his lambo aventador if he could still do what he says

Is Berry (still) profitable? When he narrates his trades, he doesn't seem to know quite what he's on about. And he typically uses smallish stakes...

Happy to be told otherwise, he just doesn't speak with much authority.
It doesn't necessarily mean he's an unprofitable trader...if it works, it works I suppose

I once swore an oath never to eat Pot Noodles again. Now they're selling doner kebab flavor, temptation by the devil himself.

Stupid cat, doesn't like tap water, only drinks rainwater. But if you fill an outdoor tray with tap water she'll happily drink it, thinking it's rainwater.

Interestingly every pot noodle ever made has been vegetarian, with the 'chicken and mushroom' and 'beef' flavours being precisely that - just flavouring and zero actual meat or poultry.
