I've had an indoor weather station for the last 20 years. The last one I got cost about £15.
I wasn't aware you two had so much in common!

I think it's only fair you invite him over for a beer and show what you do as well.

Maybe for the Champions League final?
This website may help to get the weather conversation going.

What if the guy is also into cricket? You never know, it could result in a good cricket edge.

I'm not into gardening, but I enjoy planting seeds in a proverbial sense, it always amazes me what they can grow into, when the mind opens up to a new idea it rarely returns to its original size!

And always important to have a bit of fun along the way, with any success that aspect often seems to be criminally underrated ;)

Changed my Betfair password. It may sound strange but I sometimes feel sad to see a password go. Even though it was randomly generated characters, I really liked the old one. :)

Jesus what’s going on in the EU elections ?

President Emmanuel Macron has said he is dissolving parliament and is calling for new elections following the performance of the far-right National Rally in the European elections.

"Perhaps the biggest earthquake happened in France, where Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally secured around double the vote share of Emmanuel Macron's group"

Respect to Macron. Taking up the challenge head on, which he has to if he wants to get any policies through. Could do with more politicians like him over here rather than the current crop of wet blankets (Sunak in hiding & Stammer trying not to make a gaff)...

Major and May went big and ultimately lost. It's a dangerous strategy. For the record I loved Major's "put up, or shut up". Best leave it there.

I was born in Birkenhead. I am therefore a Birkonian. I don't come from Birkonia. Since you are in Norwich, what is the equivalent. Norwichian? I'm not even going to google it.

I consider myself a Londoner. I've lost the cockney accent now, but when I was 16 most Northerners said I had a strong cockney accent. I used to go up the 'ill to get 'ome. :)

You're a Londoner that is in Norwich. I'm a Merseysider that is now in Chesterfield via Bimingham, Deptford, Windsor.
Tebbit said people need to get on their bikes.
