Fuck me!!!

I've always ignored the 'size of text' setting thinking it's for blind people. Didn't realise you can emulate a higher screen resolution by reducing it.

If you have your Windows scaling on anything larger than 100% (or 96dpi as it's sometimes called) many areas of Bet Angel won't display properly

ie, the rules and settings editors will have many of the pick lists or other options not being visible

My old laptop was on 100%. My new one defaults to 125%. No problems with BA displaying but much better on 100%. I could do with a longer ladder. :D

As soon as the Reading match is over a flat-pack frenzy begins for me. Wardrobe, dinner table, bathroom cabinet, rant corner.

Getting to the end of 1980. Legs & Co were on in their sexy outfits and flashy hairstyles, followed by the Nolans - grossly overdressed with 1970's hairstyles! Why did I ever fancy them?
It's 1981 now, talking about the Nolans being overdressed...

flipping hell!! The clocks went back last night and I've only just noticed. No wonder I ran out of beer with the extra drinking hour.

It's absolutely infuriating when flat-pack instructions don't appear clear...until you realise that you were just too pissed to read them correctly.

I've just caught the end of the womens' Arsenal v West Ham match before an MLS game. When the women hug each other after the match there's less affection or passion than when male footballers do it.

I suspect the 'affection' you describe in the men's game is designed to conceal the identity of the scorer. Thereby suppressing their market value and thus maintaining your own. There may also be some argy-bargy in the huddle like - "we layed against ourselves to the hilt, you tit!"

Just unpacked my wardrobe flatpacks. Half an hour just to find the 40-page instruction manual. :x :o

If I was to record one of those fast-motion videos of me assembling my wardrobe, it would probably be four hours long and still appear in slow motion. It's a case of putting two bits of wood together, fitting the screws, popping out for a fag, checking on my automation tests, and not being arsed to attach another bit of wood for half an hour.

I was only joking, it's really a serious issue. What I'm looking forward to is if/when fossil fuel is ditched and the world is totally green, what's Greta gonna complain about then. :D
