I've reached the year 1977. Great song from Darts but dreadful miming.

There's only one Daddy Cool and it ain't that shite! :P

Same year, haven't reached that one yet, and another big mimer. 77 was a big year for Boney M but nobody can wear pants as tight as that and sing in a deep voice.

I've got there now. There isn't much between the two Daddy Cool's on the top 100 for the year.

Check out this performance. The miming is unbelieable.

Finished 1977. There were some iconic songs like Hotel California, the next thing you know the flipping muppets are on with a shit song about sitting on the best step of a staircase.

Yeah pretty shocking alright. I like the song but it's one of those songs that's better without a video :D

At least in the version you posted the audience on TOTP are sort of into it... I suppose that's what passed as dancing in the 70's? Just standing on the spot shaking! To be fair Jimmy Saville could have been there and they were just all terrified!

In this version they look like they're there against their will :)

We should have a stupidity corner. I tried using a magifiying glass on BLV to see how much stoppage time was added, but it only made the pixels bigger.

Just started 1978, a great year. I remember seeing Boney M on Top of the Pops and asking, "Are they brothers and sisters?"

Legs & Co were really hot at the time but I'd rather see the videos/artists.
