I think the lottery jackpot should be capped. Max win say £10m. The surplus getting distributed around the lesser prizes. OMG, does that make me a socialist?!
You can't even buy a decent yacht for £10M.
Luxury Yachts are coming down in price, its due to supply and demand, and the market is flooded with them right now !!
You might be satisfied with a £10M yacht, but when you go to buy one you'll want the £80M yacht sitting next to it. :)

Until you park it next to a £150M container ship and want to take it a test drive down the Suez canal

One of the things I love about the Over/Under 0.5 market is placing a bet with an offset and popping out of a fag. If a goal's scored there's nothing you can't do that you would have been able to do sitting at your desk. :D

Doing the housework whilst trading the o/u 0.5 is another benefit. :D

Johnny Depp fans have paid $1000s to travel to the courtroom and hadn't even bothered to check if he's turning up.

Annoying finding out at 4:20 AM that the pizza you thought you had in the freezer was eaten the last time you were pissed.

At least you're never too pissed to cook an omelette. :D

Imagine a 50-year-old going into a shop to buy cigarettes and having to show ID or being told he's too young to smoke, which will eventually happen if government proposals go through.

...and what when a 95-year-old is the last smoker in the UK? Shops will have to keep stocking and selling them just for him.

No they won't. There is no law that requires shops to stock cigs.
Just give in Derek. Go vape, you know it makes sense.
Seriously though it's rich for any UK govt to take the high moral line one this. It's been decades of disgusting pandering to the tobacco industry followed by a softly, softly approach.
But thankfully usage has been falling for yonks. This "policy" looks like grandstanding.
I hate cigs though. I wish all smokers would stop.
I am prejudiced on this subject, no doubt.

If they increase the smoking age limit by a year every year, the 18-year-olds of today will eventually be the four 65-year-old Yorkshire men sitting in a lounge drinking Château de Chasselas, complaining about the lack of cigarettes. They need to have a plan of how they intend to finally phase them out. They haven't really thought it through.

A quick question for people from my generation. We all remember 33s and 45s, some may even have had 78s.

But has anyone had or heard of a 16?

Edit: I'm not talking about having sex with 16 or 78-year-olds. :)

Sky News announced the International Rugby League has banned transgender women from women's rugby fixtures until more research has been carried out.

Then they show the England rugby team, as though they're all transgender women.

Harry said he made sure his grandmother is surrounded by the right people, shame he didn't do the same for his dad.
