Not sure this requires a seperate thread but Ken Bruce leaving the Beeb is a sad day for me.
His mellifluous and soft Scottish tone and gentle, polite wit was a gem.
My 4-5hr journeys to and from Edinburgh would have been a lot more tedious without him.

I wish his successor the best of luck, but I shall follow Ken to Greatest Hits.

Not heard Bobby Firmino leaving the club?

Sad day indeed, such a classy player, basically reinvented the false 9 role

Thats a really crap news item to wake up to.
I wholeheartedly agree that he is class. Klopp might have dropped a clanger there.
I'm convinced Bobby has been missed already with his reduced game time, even when available.
Klopp must be relying (hoping?) that the front line develops a better understanding. They surely need to pronto!

If I knew whiskey was flavoured with peat I'd never have touched the stuff. 🤮

My mistake. It's not added to whisky but burnt to roast and flavour the barley like a charcoal barbeque. Sounds right up my street. I'll have to try a bottle of peated whisky. :)

It's funny how a gigantic dump before heading to the supermarket reminds you to buy some bog roll, whether you're running out or not. :D

Probably, but Bill doesn't update us every time he has a bowel movement or runs out of toilet paper

Daily Express: Will BBC make him say sorry?

I think Gary's more likely to have got an apology from the BBC for wasting his time!
