This thread prompted me to revisit Linn (I have linn speakers from the 90's, cost a few hundred).
But I was staggered by that website.

A mate of mine worked in a hifi shop and he was so astonished at the subjectivity of what sounds great or rubbish.
To the point that he just gave up with his own opinion and just tried to match a customer with what they liked.

I couldn't get my cheap Goodman's Bluetooth soundbar to work last night. I was on the verge of binning it. Today I start trading the Uruguay v Argentina match and I hear Peter's voice coming from the bedroom telling me the event's in play. It was connected to my laptop!!
