why was he sticking his hand/fingers in somebody's letter box? - rather a silly idea my dog would have done the same, fingers suddenly appearing his side of the door, he will have em.

Looking at his sleeve it looks like the colours of Royal Mail so maybe a postman?

you gotta be wrong; surely postmen of all people would have the savvy not to go sticking their fingers/hands in letter boxes.

1. resident could have had sign (or similar) on the front door..

or

2. postal delivery person wasn’t regular on that route & wasn’t aware

or

3. dog was lying “in wait”, maybe asleep near the front door, was startled & reacted

or

4. protective cage wasn’t fitted other side of the door

or

5. item to be delivered was that flimsy, i.e. weight of a leaflet, that the only way to deliver it was to push it right through

or

6. could have been any combination of the above

perhaps they should keep him in the sorting office - would not seem to be cut out for posting letters.

His wife won’t be best pleased either if he’s right handed. The build up will be half the fun it used to be. 😂

that’s as far a I’m aware, mate at work was bitten & he got awarded near enough naff all, I’ve been bitten four times now, the last time was actually in the Post Office in the village I deliver to, caught it on CCTV, owner still denied it amazingly, well when I say bitten it went to bite me but I moved out of the way just in time
