Derek, honest question, think about that for one minute. How could so many, without asking questions, all find themselves back to the same road and not say “o fuck”, boom ?Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 11:37 pmI mentioned earlier on this thread, that convoy was in disarray, no communication, inadequate maps, presumably no GPS, bogged down in the mud and they all made their way to the same road. They have a leader who thinks he's god, even high-ranking commanders didn't have time to prepare because they were led to believe it was a training exercise, so it was always going to be a disaster.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 11:23 pmIts well documented, in March 2022, a special convey of 35 miles, was hit and lost 2000 tanks, 67000 soldiers, 8000 missiles, 300000 shells, 1200000 small arms rounds. Plus logisitics. Russia lost famous tank regiments from the second wold war and 3000 spetsnaz special forces. Its the main reason the war or special operation has continued 12 months on. Thats allot of stuff to lose overnight. Only one country in the world could achieve on its own or help others achieve. Makes you wonder, on paper and in public NO but behind the scenes is the USA really, aleady at war with Putin and Russia ?

I'm just repeating what Michael Clarke said. They were unprepared, poorly trained, equipped, no communications, etc. NATO air power could have wiped out that convoy in an afternoon, but the Ukrainians with their limited resources focused on targeting the fuel, ammo and supply trucks, rather than the tanks and armoured personnel carriers.

Shells containing depleted uranium are more than capable of destroying any tank Russia has.
These will be fired from Challenger 2 tanks.

If we not careful it will be Hitler all over again. He wants the old USSR back.

Nuclear weapons shouldn't be used under any circumstances by any nation in fact all nuclear weapons should be de-commissioned, you can't launch a nuclear weapons and not expect reprisal's.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 8:54 pmThat's why Putin and all his forces at home and abroad should have been nuked back in Feb 2022.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 8:05 pmPutin claims to be liberating the Ukraine whilst suppressing his own people and even worse children, what an evil regime they are.

A key difference between the scenario with Hitler's Germany and Putin's Russia I can see is appeasement. The West has made it's stance known and Nato currently occupy multiple borders across Europe and will act if Russia go beyond the Ukraine, Hitler was more or less allowed to move unappeased through Europe, Putin won't be.
It's scary times we're living in with the weapons that nations hold, it only takes one idiot and it's game over once nuclear missiles start flying.

If it doesn’t happen over Ukraine then it will over Taiwan as USA has said they will defend it. Just depends if that’s using conventional or if it looks like they going to lose then Nuclear.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 12:59 pmNuclear weapons shouldn't be used under any circumstances by any nation in fact all nuclear weapons should be de-commissioned, you can't launch a nuclear weapons and not expect reprisal's.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 8:54 pmThat's why Putin and all his forces at home and abroad should have been nuked back in Feb 2022.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 8:05 pm

Very dark times and could get even worse in the future.
Don’t forget if China invades Taiwan then Japan, Australia and no doubt the UK could all get drawn in. Russia sides with China and it could all get very messy and dangerous for everyone.

BBC News: Russia is to station nuclear weapons in Belarus.
