Just wondering what hobbies people have away from trading

I'm just looking for something to take up but not sure what.

Might find a bit far fetched but come across some YouTube videos on gold panning in the UK and believe it or not there's gold in our rivers albeit in small quantities! It's on my list as live near the North Pennies and Lake District so can include it in walks and maybe some wild camping.

Also like the sound of getting an allotment to start growing my own veg.

I used to do a lot of running and enjoyed the challenge of running up some of the biggest hills in Norfolk ;) but if I lived where you are hill walking would be at the top of my list. Chess was another hobby I don't have time for but playing against software or online is a bit solitary for a trader.

I consider trading as my number one hobby. Doing it for a living doesn't mean it's not a hobby. Drinking, music, gardening and cooking. :D

Not exactly a hobby, but I do enjoy making my own soups, bolognese, casseroles etc. Surprisingly easy to do, and they taste great.

Swimming and cycling are good depending on your location/circumstances.

Keeping fit in the gym and weightlifting to release the endorphins and keep my mind focused.

Sudoku and Chess

And fishing is a top hobby of mine off the beaches in Dorset.

Also get plenty of time on the Games Console getting my ass kicked off 6yr olds!

Garage, woodshop, gardening. Anything to do with making, fixing and modding stuff I suppose. In reality though, drinking tea, smoking, and watching the garage telly.

Nobody mentioned strangling animals, golf and masterbating...

Good to hear, but I hope you're not completely neglecting yourself. ;)

I spent 11 years working for charity and enjoyed it, glad I did it, but there's always a danger of feeling you're putting more into society than you're getting out.

Jigsaws (1000 pieces)
I got a jigsaw recently.

It said 4-7 years on the box. But it only took me a week ;)

Tend to avoid those ones. :?

I woke up the other day with a puzzled look on my face, I'd fallen asleep on my jigsaw.
