I've just stumbled across this Russian website. Haven't registered yet but all the old comedys and programmes I'd like to watch but can't find on iPlayer or YouTube seem to be on this site, in complete series.

I've learnt a lot this evening. IPTV, Android TV boxes, firesticks - I thought firesticks were matches.

Don't know why I never thought of it, but I can extend my desktop onto the TV screen and play videos in full screen, no need for IPTV, Android TV or firesticks.

Only snag is no remote control and would need to get off my arse and journey to the laptop to rewind if I've missed something. But who cares? We managed in the eighties without remotes and rewind buttons - you just pay attention.

If I ever got a cat flap I'd probably lose the use of my legs altogether. Luckily there's no suitable place to fit one. As I type the cat wants to come in!
