I suppose a dust up would just delay the inevitable. The guy who loses the fight would just go get his rifle and shoot the other guy anyway!

Shaun is reprimanding me there and is certain he knows what is in my head well he is 100% wrong if he believes I viewed that as entertainment. Martina Navratilova brought it to me via her twit and then I brought it here, sunlight on America's gun problem is not unethical.

On the other hand it probably is too heavy for this thread so will edit it out.

PS Running tired of this place, too many enjoy throwing their supercillious darts out of the shadows. Saw that in cricket threads (which can & now will die) and seeing it other places.

Not seen the clip in question but I personally hate this new psychological phenomenon, "the bystander effect" or whatever it's called, when people would rather take out their phones and record stuff instead of trying to help etc. It's as if the ability to record makes people devoid of all responsibility.

I get it, chief! It is actually an appalling endictment of modern life.
The view that a gun is a 'solution' to a neighbourhood/familial dispute almost moves me to tears.
It is such an inappropriate use of lethal force that it beggars belief.
Quite how the killer's attorneys can be claiming self defence staggers me.

I didn't view it like that, if I did I wouldn't have responded to it.

To me Emmson was highlighting it rather than posting it as something we can all rubberneck at.
