The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People -- one of the most useful books that I read
That does a disservice to the author. It was published before Thinking, Fast and Slow.

Interesting read if you like London Gangster books!
If you liked Lock Stock with Vinnie Jones character, it is based on Dave Courtney

Totally agree with you. This book changed my life. I think that everyone who wants to be successful and effective should read it.samsmith32 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 9:43 amThe 7 Habits of Highly Effective People -- one of the most useful books that I read
The last my book was Flowers for Algernon. The book is written in the diary genre. It is easy to read, in one breath. Affects very subtle levels of the human psyche. Things are rising that many of us have thought and are thinking about ... I was surprised in one place by the description of the hero, which looks like he is in a meditative state: the body expands, merges almost with the universe, etc. I liked the book very much, because I am very interested in the psychology of the human soul and this kind of work: the description of the sensations of the most experimented is amazing and unusual.

Just finished The Four Kings for anyone into boxing. Older book but came across it on the shelf in Waterstones. Great era of boxing

Not a book, but one of my favourite sports writers. This is Hugh Mcilvanney's piece in the aftermath of the Ali v Foreman " rumble in the jungle".Michael5482 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 8:46 amScreenshot 2022-04-18 at 08.42.34.png

A SUPERB resource in my opinion for book lovers is OpenLibrary.org as its Free To Use
Clearly Euler's book is not available to borrow on OpenLibrary.org as it hasn't even been published yet
My current 2 borrows are (borrows from 1 hour - 14 days)
