Hi everyone,

I am still here and grinding, although you don't hear much from me.

Wanted to have your help or advice please which is always appreciated.

How can one extract simple horse racing data into a spreadsheet and then use that spreadsheet in Guardian for firing bets on certain horses. Is that possible to create?

Best and Thanks again.

paspuggie48 has posted multiple samples of using powerquery to extract data from various horse racing websites.
There's no reason why that data can't be utilised with the BA Excel template.

On a side note, I find it more efficient these days to crunch the data in a spreadsheet then pass the selection data in a CSV file via the Guardian import CSV rule. Then you don't need linked Excel at all. Purely on a CPU overhead viewpoin its much less intensive
