Office or Excel

Got a new machine, anyone recommend the best place to get Office or Excel? Is Openoffice compatible??

I just pay MS about a fiver a month for the full version of Office 365, all the updates and no upgrade issues

Personal version at £5.99 pm

ditto - seems like the best way fwd these days. you can have it on 5 different machines, so is quite a generous licence.
