Hi
Firstly, apologies if I've missed it elsewhere, I tried searching but got literally 0 results (perhaps I'm not searching for the correct terminology).
I have a couple of bits of basic automation just to store things like odds at specific intervals, winning horse/jockey/trainer, their BSP and BSP rank (all mostly stolen from this forum ).
What I would like to do is at the end of the day, export all of this information into Excel so I can start to build up a bit of a history and try to work out some trends. Is this possible?
If so, where do I start? Do I just pick an empty Excel file on my hard drive somewhere and tell it to export to that at the end of the day (how would I get it to add the stored interval odds), or do I need a specific template to work off and tell it what I want to export?
Any help provided is greatly appreciated.
This is specifically for the Horse Racing markets, but theory applies elsewhere.
Many thanks
Mark
Export Guardian / Save Stored Values etc.
I've progressed it a little bit. Looking at another post referencing SV's I've worked out that I might need to add my stored values to the guardian view and then export, which I've been able to do.
However, the stored values I use are for each horse (selection) within the market at different timed intervals.
e.g.
Perth 13:20, Horse1 has SV1,SV2,SV3,SV4,SV5,SV6, Horse 2 has SV1,SV2,SV3,SV4,SV5,SV6, Horse3 has SV1,SV2 etc.
Newmarket 13:35, Horse1 has SV1,SV2,SV3,SV4,SV5,SV6, Horse 2 has SV1,SV2,SV3,SV4,SV5,SV6, Horse3 has SV1,SV2 etc.
Guardian though only appears to be able to display stored values for the whole market, which isn't what I'm doing.
The only way I can see how this might be done is it create an individual column for each selection,
which could potential be huge depending on the number of runners. for example a 10 runner race with say 6 SVs per horse would need x60 columns?
Is there a slicker way of doing this? I appreciate the Excel columns will be large as that's the nature of the beast, but wondered if I'm missing something about manually creating perhaps 100 columns.
Would appreciate any help getting this progressed.
Many thanks again,
Mark
