Specifically if anyone is non-UK and trading in-running horses, how much difference have you noticed with BA VPS? Am with another provider currently and it's pretty decent but any lag can obviously be an issue. Thanks.
If the feed you are basing your clicks on is ok, the VPS is not an issue.
The response time between a Bet Angel VPS and Betfairs servers is <15ms, not that it really matters as BF processes orders on 200ms cyclesarbitrage16 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 3:44 pmSpecifically if anyone is non-UK and trading in-running horses, how much difference have you noticed with BA VPS? The latency between the device you use to connect to the server is dependant on your connection and location but based on having a decent connection a user in Australia would typically expect to have around a 350ms latency

Yes - unless maybe you are betting live somewhere.
Anyway, the VPS is good enough.

If two bets are submitted on the same selection/price within the 200ms cycle, does Betfair still maintain the order in which they reached the exchange?ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 3:48 pmPIQ matters regardless of how that queue is processed once you're in it.

Yes. First in first out. And I'm not aware of any particular accounts being given priority. From personal stats and talking to others doing what I do then latency does matter for certain types of trading. If Dallas knows otherwise then I'm all ears.
