I never said I can't understand the other side, you did. :)
Ah the subtleties of the English language. I didn't say I cannot understand the other side, I said I ...

... cannot see why some should want to throw away that advantage
I said 'your side' wants to throw away the international advantage the monarchy provides, I didn't say I can't see why you want to remove the monarchy.

Anyway I guess we still disagree on the monarchy!

I've just ordered a new laptop. :D

And it will be delivered during tomorrow's Group F matches, FFS. Half time I hope.

So the hooligans showed better planning and more restraint?

2-0
Too drunk to cook my intended chicken curry and no pizza's left in the fridge so it's now 3-0 to the hooligans - they all got takeaways.

Popped into the garden for a fag and a flipping bird crapped on my right wrist!

I thought they only crap on windows and patios.

Despite all the technological advances in the last century, you still need to reach for your toolbox, power tools, etc. just to open plastic packaging!!

FFS, what's the point in having USB sockets so close together you can only use one of them??

This is one of my (many) pet hates, I now have a simple rule that works very well,......when I buy something from a supermarket, like a block of cheese or a packet of biscuits or a bar of chocolate, if I need a "tool" (sharp knife or scissors usually) to open the packaging, I will not buy that product again!

Gold blend coffee is something that winds me up everyday, 10years ago, maybe more, it came in a very functional jar, then they changed the jar to something where 9 times out of 10, the lid gets cross threaded when you put it back on.........."if it aint broke, dont fix it!"

You shouldn't even need a tin opener in this day and age (with the wasted water to was the tin opener). I've never smashed up a PC after a bad trade but I have in the past smashed up a food packet out of frustration, because it was difficult to open.

I've noticed in the last couple of years that most tinned food (tuna, beans, ravioli, soup) I have bought had ringpulls on

Most most frustrating experience in the kitchen recently was getting cling film tangled up and it tearing off in strips as I spent 15 minutes trying to sort it to no avail

It's packets of bacon that really make my blood boil. Always have a peel tab that never works and you have to get a sharp knife out.

Just been to Lidl, won't be drinking until the 20:00 match but have to make do with cheap quality lager again. I guess the supermarkets thought England would be out by now.

My new laptop doesn't have an ethernet socket! Are they obsolete?

Yep, pretty rare now. Usb ports even are disappearing from a lot of machines.
