...and the weird thing is that high pressure can also cause the same!

Here in Ireland and in the UK everybody who wants to be vaccinated should be fully vaccinated in the next couple of months. Hospitalisations and deaths after that point will be mostly people who for whatever reason didn't get vaccinated. When some of those people are lying in a hospital bed hooked up to a ventilator they won't be able to blame anybody but themselves. At the end of the day as the article below proves, you can't argue with stupid.

"They won't be able to blame anybody else but themselves". Well isn't that some outside the box genius revelation. Like anyone who made the choice to not get vaccinated thought for a second that decision was somebody else's... sort of the point is that it's their decision, I think they fully expect to own it.
I've had an ex who would do a lot of things wrong of her own choice and say why didn't you tell/warn/remind me?

Yeah that's what a lot of these people will do. If they get sick it will be somebody else's fault, not theirs.

I read an ONS survey of vaccine hesitancy.
https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulation ... o23may2021

It looks like the overriding reasons for not being vaccinated are fear, mistrust rather than bloody-mindedness. Mistrust of govt and pharms. Disbelief that vaccines can be created safely in the timescale we've seen. Concerns about effects on fertility and pregnaancies. Concerns about the contents of the vaccines eg non-Halal ingredients, foetal products. Theres a raft of genuine, albeit misinforrmed concerns out there.
The one thing that puzzles me is why people would rather risk covid than the minimal (judging from the millions of jabs now done) risks of a jab.
Of course I may regret that in the long term. But I don't think vaccines function like things such as Thalidomide. But, hell what do i know?

You have a warning on every packet of fags you smoke, but you still do. Tell me, is it the fags that you'll blame or do you understand the risk you take, because the warnings have been given, just like the warnings that have been given to people who choose not to get vaccinated?.

Either way Derek, you have the right to choose what you do, and don't deserve to be treated like a seven yo for making those choices.

As a trader it's a numbers game for me, but unfortunately most do not think well in probabilities and tend to make decisions based on emotions

A lot of people seem to base their opinions on false beliefs born from reading obvious propaganda articles funded by pharmaceutical companies, I mean why would a billion dollar industry lie? I imagine that if they applied the same thinking to their trading strategies, they would be aiming for 100% strike rate on every market

When you fear losing money it inadvertedly causes you to lose money

When you fear living it inadvertedly causes you to lose life

I'm still sat here wondering why the roads are busier than ever and it's so hard to find a house for a decent price because apparently there should be tens of thousands of empty houses and a price crash from all the people supposedly dying (normal deathrate worldwide in all countries for the last 18 months)

I think you've misunderstood my post. I was saying that some idiots will always blame other people. I wasn't suggesting I was one of them.

McDonald's is a good example. They've been sued by obese people for making them fat, and somebody who spilt their coffee on their hand sued for the burns it caused. That's why their apple pies are labelled "may be hot" or a bag of nuts "may contain nuts". :)

When you genuinely believe that you're better than another person...I absolutely love that the other lady stood proud.

Get off your knees you flipping idiot, sympathy is an award given to the lesser fortunate. If you see black people as lesser humans, you're the problem... you obviously aren't colour blind, you're recognising people by colour, rather than name. You're the racists.

Being ill (or virus symptoms as we know it) is just a detoxing mechanism cycle that our body goes through from time to time.

How else would it get rid of the build up of processed food, alcohol, cigarette and other toxins? There's a reason why some people are ill more often than others.

The idea that healthy people are making others sick sounds like a ludicrous conspiracy theory if you ask me. Psychological manipulation at its finest.

Even if the germ theory lie that a billion dollar industry would not exist without is true, healthy people would be less likely to spread viruses because they recover quicker and have less severe symptoms for a shorter time. Vaccines on the other hand (if they do what they say) would put pressure on viruses to evolve into deadlier or more transmittable strains, effectively making vaccinated people virus factories/training camps which are more of a danger to others

I didn't say you were misunderstood. I said you misunderstood my post.

If you've got a question for me just post the question without quoting something that has no relevance to the question.

No, I wouldn't blame the fags, but some people would, which was the point of my post.

Alex, this is the rant thread. You need to post that to the Covid thread.
