No rant here, just a combination of relief and delight........I've taken a couple of hours off this afternoon for a haircut and a cold pint of Kronenbourg

I feel almost normal again 8-)
Yeah - got a haircut today - what a change

Shocking news story on Sky. Two brothers were walking side-by-side, shoulder to shoulder, they weren't even throwing punches at each other!!

I can see why there's so much litter left in supermarket trolleys. One twat gets a trolley out, picks up the litter and chucks it in the next trolley for the next guy to do the same. Then he pushes his trolley straight past the bin!

I've been using VBA for years without realising that ByRef is default over ByVal, when defining subroutines. I wonder how many hours I've wasted debugging code. :(

FFS, I had a list box that was mysteriously lowering the case of the first character of each item. So I created a function to subtract 32 from the first character code and now it's started behaving properly! :x

I don't even know why it's got a pneumatic tyre, stupid idea. I actually bought a solid wheel for it but the b*$%£$d didn't fit.

btw an idea for anyone with elderly relatives/neighbours...my old ma took a dive out of her backdoor a while ago onto concrete, so I've laid a load of those thick rubber slabs down like they use in playgrounds. I can't stop her falling but it might help her bounce :) tbh being old looks grim, I'm going to carry on smoking and miss out that bit.

Looking at my own mother I'm thinking the same as you. I don't smoke though so I plan on moving to Colombia when I turn 50 and getting shagged to death!

My toaster has an analogue dial ranging from 1 - 6. I set it at about 2.3 and it still burnt the toast!

What do people use setting 6 for??

I got ID'd by the woman at the supermarket checkout today because I was buying a bottle of brandy.

I'm 58 years old.

That's her subtle way of asking for a date. :)
