If you think visiting a slaughterhouse will put you off meat, I've just seen footage of a sandwich factory that's put me right off buying sandwiches. Of course they are your betters. you are ecpected to bow to them and address them by their royal titles. They are not things you do to people of equal standing in life

Nope, still don't agree ... to me a 'better' is someone better than me, their title and means of welcome is irrelevant but I respect everyone's right to see themselves as subservient to someone else if that pleases them.
