What odds on Denmark being the team of the year?

Adam Peaty at 9-1 looks a good punt for SPOTY 2021

I thought Mark Cavendish was a good bet at 25's until we won so many golds...

4 x TDF Wins
Most winningist (if that's a word) TDF cyclist in history
World Championships to come...

Then Tom Daley, Adam Peaty and the Kennys happened!

DM'd you Memphis if you get chance, appreciate you're busy!

And what if Hamilton becomes the most successful driver in F1 history by winning this season?
My bet would be Jason Kenny. Superb history-making achievements and properly down-to earth.
And he left us with the image of the Keirin. What may have been his last race, he just glanced over his shoulder, saw a gap and took off like a missile and made it stick.

Unfortunately his reputation has become a little tarnished over recent weeks otherwise yes, he'd be bang up there.

Looking back through previous Olympic years, I believe F Flintoff in 2004 is the only person to not win a medal at the Olympics and finish in the Top3 of SPOTY - please correct me if this is wrong below:

2016 (Rio)
A.Murray, A.Brownlee, N.Skelton

2012 (London)
B.Wiggins, J.Ennis, A.Murray

2008 (Beijing)
C.Hoy, L.Hamilton, R.Adlington

2004 (Athens)
K.Holmes, M.Pinsent, A.Flintoff

2000 (Sydney)
S.Redgrave, D.Lewis, T.G Thompson

Kenny for me. Deservedly so. Would love Laura second too.

Lol. The weaker sex eh? involved in a chaotic crash. Gets back on the bike and finishes the race and carry's on through the following races as normal.
True grit. But put that to her and I'm sure she'd say ' What else would I do? It's my job!'.

Agreed. The fairer sex, I mean. Not you being old fashioned. :-) Not much wrong with that though.

No surprise to see Emma Raducanu as the fav already @ 1.62, its now how low that price will go if she wins tonight

And how far out if she should lose... I'd guess that the potential movement out from 1.62 should she lose is somewhat greater than the movement in should she win. Therefore, based upon an uncertain final tonight, my instinct is to LAY at 1.62 and aim to green up around evens...
