I've just heard Johnson was sacked as a journalist for misrepresentation and then sacked from his first cabinet post for lying about an affair.

Veteran Conservative Lord Michael Heseltine says Boris Johnson should leave office straight away.

The former deputy prime minister says there is a "lack of trust" in Johnson.

"Leaving him in a position where he can use the power of the premiership to suit his own causes and his own interests is a very dangerous thing to do”, he tells the BBC."

My word, the guy has poked the Tory hornets nest. They're determined to catapult him out ASAP.

The Mirror's suggesting he wants to stay in office so he can have a summer wedding party at chequers. Wouldn't surprise me, let the country go down the drain for the sake of one more party, selfish to the last.

I think he wants to be in office for longer than TM. So 28 days to go. :)

Bit of a double bummer for Johnson then. :D

How anyone could compare that to a drunken vomiting party or reduce such parties to a piece of cake shows how biased some people are. ;)

Rayner: Integrity matters in politics. The contrast with the behaviour of this disgraced Prime Minister couldn't be clearer. :D

Andrea Jenkyns: Minister says she raised her middle finger because of a 'baying mob'

BJ has a knack of attracting controversy even indirectly by appointing someone with a minimal understanding of decorum.

There should be a market for the first resignation in BJ's new cabinet. :)

Thing that cheeses me off about this is she accepts abuse had been going for a while. Surely the moment to confront abuse is at it's inception. Not a moment of your political choice?

The prime minister's house has been set on fire, but unfortunately, it's the Sri Lankan PM's house.

BJ has 6 homes Derek. And there not all in the UK. Although he might have to sell some with all those ex wives and children. 😱
