37ºC, I can only describe as comfortable. Roll on 40 plus. :D
You're weird clear off to Oz mate. :-)
19C in my living room and 27C upstairs. Too much for me. Haven't been out today other than poking my nose out the door and retreating rapidly.
My (probably 80 year old) neighbour is out in the garden under a parasol. I don't get this fascination with heat. But hey let us all live our life as we wish.

That neighbour I mentioned before, whose idea of a good time is filming lightning storms, complains that the temperature of his living room exceeds 40ºC on any hot day. I've explained to him the reason is partly because he doesn't have the east-facing windows that I have so no breeze is going through his flat. But also because the ten computer screens that he uses to track the weather and potential storms entirely cover his south-facing window, which is shut. As Del Boy would say, what a 21-carat plonker!

In a way our (Enlglish) attitude to weather is comical. Winter brings us to a halt when Scandinavians scoff. Now we have heatwaves that leave other Europeans and Middle/East Asians/Africans scoffing (assuming any of them really give a toss about us at all).
Having said that I still can't hack these temps. If it becomes a norm I'm going to have think hard and spend wisely.
Yours sweatily.

Just had a look at my outdoor thermometer. The Met says 30C my thermometer says 25C. Thats a big difference. Having said that it's flipping warm out there.

And checked upstairs - 28C.
I suspect I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight.

I'm enjoying trading Venezuela/Brazil in the comfort of my garden, on what potentially is the hottest night on record. Almost feels like South America. All we need is the sound of crickets. :D

If you're trading in your garden, just play this in the background. :D

FFS, the Brazilian girls score a goal and then it starts raining - I had to scarper inside with my laptop before closing my trade!

Out in the garden again trading Brazilian Serie A. I see an insect crawling around my ladder and wonder, can he place a bet on a touch screen? :o

28c here at 09:00, but it looks like we will miss the really high temps. Only 35c forecast here for today. That's not too bad.

Not sure I would be clearing off to Oz. This article is rather shocking. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-62217390

These environmental reports are always catastrophically dire - take it with a grain of salt.

Read any newspaper and there are plenty of reasons the world is going to end, everything gives you cancer etc etc. And everything is a “crisis”.

14 minutes round trip to the coop. Over 35C. Not doing that again. Appalling. Took 45 minutes, cold shower and stood dripping in front of the fan for 10 minutes to finally stop sweating.
Yuk!

Just nipped into the garden and left a thermometer two metres up in the shade - 37.6c
