Frost in October. I should coco. :-)
But I'd swap frost for this any day.
Its interesting how heatwaves used to be a source of glee, now it feels like an existential threat.

You're crazy, but well done! Although a soakaway seems somewhat redundant just now.

I've got Magpies on my front windowsill. Never seen this before. My conclusion is my front room is about 20C. Its still over 35C out there. Can they sense the temp difference and are looking for a way in?

The London Mayor Sadiq KHAN put my homeless friend into a hotel last week for one week due to extreme weather conditions. I don't here the government following his initiative, and act of mercy.

Levelling up has homelessness as one of its objectives.
Sadly, the bill is taking yonks to come into effect. And the cynic in me suspects the remaining Tory govt have no enthusiasm for it,

Do you have air conditioning? If not, how is your livingroom so cool?

The government got them all off the streets for covid, but that wasn't for the benefit of homeless people but to stop them from spreading it to taxpayers.
