I think this deserves it's own thread. Soon, (if not already), gambling sites will all be running soft credit checks on your credit file. Take a look at the link below and see what they will be able to view.

It's even worse if you have opted into open banking. You might want to get this closed asap!

At least they have Gambling on the income side in slide 10!! Never understood why anyone would want to use open banking.

I hope they consider that some people's income completely bypasses their bank accounts, like people paid in cash or use of e-wallets.

That's a really interesting presentation. Quite alarming that open banking is giving people access to that information.
