Seen it all now, even the AA are issuing coloured alerts for the busy/congested periods!
Looks like they issued their first amber waring for 30th-31st July, and now another for the upcoming bank holiday weekend

I'm driving down to Devon on Saturday and fully expected to get stuck in traffic on the M5 for an hour or two. I would expect nothing less on a weekend in August. I don't need to be warned about it.
The only thing that people need warning about on that stretch of road is Bridgwater Services - avoid at all costs, even if the kids are desperate for a wee! Worst services in Britain!
