In light of current circumstances, there are probably going to be a few changes to the sporting schedule.
So this is a 'clean' thread to share information about those changes.

Thanks.
Think we'll have some racing tomorrow?

You would think so with the St Leger. I would have thought racing would have done something to celebrate the Queen perhaps?
Everything seems a bit up in the air at the moment. I keep refreshing my screen waiting for an announcement. You would have think most sports would have been well prepared for this.
A friend of my wife was given a heads up about three months ago to start preparing.

I was listening to the radio a short time ago this morning and a couple of poilticians were talking about sporting events. The consensus of opinion was that the organisers weren't required to cancel fixtures and it was very much left up to them as to how they may mark the event. This was purely the opinion of the 2 interviewees and not a statement of what would definately happen.
From my own personal opinion the queen was a very keen racing fan. With that in mind I'm wondering if the major fixtures will go ahead but be marked by something like a minute silence etc. Perhaps the fixtures may be cancelled on the day of the Queen's funeral.

Everything will be shut down or cancelled for the funeral for certain. Just a bit of uncertainty as to when that will be.
I'm surprised about the lack of information around the weekend.
Of course, we still have non UK fixtures unaffected.

Premier League and EFL fixtures for this weekend postponed .
The BHA has announced Saturday's racing in Britain will be cancelled as a mark of respect following the death of the Queen, with key races including the St Leger set to feature in a revised programme on Sunday

The Great North Run is going ahead on Sunday apparently

Don’t see why running the St.leger on Saturday is disrespectful, but running it on Sunday isn’t? Makes no odds to me, but must be hugely frustrating for all the people who made plans to travel down for the Saturday.
No football on Sunday either, seems an odd decision.
