I agree when you break it down. However personally for me I am lucky enough to have other sources free to all that helps me read how a race will pan out.

And experience 😬👴
Have you got an api I can plug into my software? :)

I get what you mean about the price though especially as there's a lot of work integrating the info and no guarantees it'll help you. But when the Racing Post is £3.50 for yesterday's news <£2/day seems very competitive. I only know a few people that use it but they seem to be happy with the cost/benefit.

Last time I bought it was about £1.80 I was shocked when I looked up the price now.

Now if Bet Angel could only align the race meter with the GPS signals.

Are there any plans in place to assist the in running traders to help with the growing persistence of drones at the race courses and the time advantage it gives them?
The Bet Angel In-Play Trader software is all you need.

Adjust the speed settings to 20ms and you have a fast visual reference point in-play.
I wouldnt exactly say BA is "ALL" you need. :)
Ive seen situations when a horse goes from @32.0 to @5.5 and even lower within a second way too many times and thats enough for me not to say that BA is all i need.
It can help for sure but its just one of many tools you need to be successful when trading inplay.

The GPS data is flawed, I think they quote +/- 1.5 metres, so a three metre worse case and at the speed they're going that's the difference between winning and placing. That doesn't include the usual inaccuracies anyway.

Plus by the time the signals bounced around and got to you, you may as well watch. GPS doesn't tell you how the horse is travelling, just how fast it was going a second or two ago... you're following stale data.

All said there will be angles that I'm sure some clever people here can make money off automated, but I'd suggest that this wouldn't be anymore profitable than following the LTP that BA provide anyway.

From my limited time in the trading world, and having paid for some of it, anyone can package up data in a pretty format and lots of people pay for it. If it was that good, why sell it?

I concur. We used it some time ago when first released to public. Not very accurate at all, and overlays misleading. It's NOT a quick fix !!!
I had far more success IP with BA in-play trader.

I was talking to another trader a couple of weeks ago who took a big hit when a horse was misreported via GPS about 5-6m away from it's real position via BetMover
